I help women who are aspiring writers learn the ways of creative fiction, so that they can confidently start and finish their own story. Unlike an expensive college course with limited interaction, I work with you for 5-weeks in a private group so that you can get the support needed from me and your fellow writers without a tuition or figuring it out all alone.
I've been a writer for almost 20 years, if you can believe it! Okay, okay, that's if you can count that I started around 8 years-old. I'm a published author of two novels and counting (currently working on part 2 of a dark fantasy series), where I write under the pen name Rissa Gems. I'm also an editor, cosplayer, gamer, amateur graphic designer, and now, teacher!
But before I was any of those things, I was, and hope to always be, a writer!
And I want to keep it honest with you- no, I'm not a bigshot bestseller (yet). No, people do not know my name nor do I have thousands of followers. But I love my craft. My passion. And you're here because you love writing, too.
And I want to share EVERYTHING I've learned over the years with you! So YOU can go on and become that bestseller. The student surpassing the mentor.
